(Beijing, April 21) Yakelyn Plutin Tizon scored game high 22 points and had 12 rebounds to lift Cuba to a 60-52 win over Australia today in the "Good Luck Beijing" CNPC 2008 Women's Basketball International Invitational Tournament.

"The key in our win was tight defense," said Plutin Tizon after the game, adding "Australia had beat USA before and we did a lot of defense training for that. We solved many problems that we had previously and our team is fitting in here well."

Speaking of being the top scorer, Plutin Tizon noted that "my performance in the past few days had not been good but it was totally different today. I scored a lot to help the team win the match."
