(Beijing, 23 April) - Comments from Jung Duk Hwa (KOR) and Jung Sun Min (KOR) following their at Beijing Olympic Basketball Gymnasium.
Lung Duk Hwa (KOR) - Coach
On their strategy of countering Australia's rebounding strengths by forcing turnovers:
"Compared with the Australian team, the Korean players are small, so we must strengthen our defence to make up for the fewer rebounds."
On Korea's low three point shooting percentage:
"Our three point shooting needs more energy, after continuous matches, the energy of the played is lower than before, the rate of good shooting is less ."
Jung Sun Min (KOR) - Center
On whether she is satisfied with her personal performance:
"I have tried my best to score. I played very seriously although it was a pity that we lost."
On Korea's low shooting percentage, especially from outside the three point line:
"Australia is already familiar with our strong points and they have worked on their defence against us."
On whether they made any adjustment to their strategy after they evened the score in the second quarter:
"No, because we just wanted to win and we worked very hard. Australia has more taller players which we have nothing to do with."
