On the performance of the core players (No. 9 Jung Sun Min and No. 10 Beon Teon Ha):
"They were not in good shape and I hope they will regain their physical strength later."

Commenting on their opponent's defence in the keyway:
"They have very excellent defence, especially their centre (Yamya Boulet Peillon)."

On falling behind in the fourth quarter after the scores remained close for much of the game:
"Our No. 6 player (Choi Youn Ah) performed very well in this game, but she fouled too many times in the fourth quarter."

Choi Youn Ah (KOR) - Guard

On whether the four fouls committed by her in the second quarter influenced her latter performance:
"Yes, because I was a little bit worried in defence against Cuba."

On their relative low number of steals compared to previous games:
"Because after five days of matches, our central players felt tired. Originally, we wanted to ease the pressure on the outside, but the outside players also felt tired."

On how they kept the game close for much of the match:
"Because we strengthed our defence against the Cuban team, but in the end, we failed to rebound in some key points."

On their low shooting percentage:
"I think we made some mistakes in the game. That's why our shooting percentage is not high. To us, as long as we adapt ourselves positively, we can regain our shooting percentage."

On Korea's strong three-point shooting:
"We had tried our best to prevent their excellent three-point shooters from shooting, and we did prevent some. That's the key to our victory in this game."
