On today's victory:
"We made the most of our strength. This is a test event before the Olympics, and it shows how we've been training for the past several years."
On strategic changes for today's game:
"No (strategic changes today). We've been playing how our coach has taught us to play."
On future games with the US team:
"We have confidence. It's four months before the Olympics, and there's still a gap between our team and the US team. We'll do our best."
On the catching up close in the second half:
"We played well in the first half, so we led the score a bit more. In the second half we had a few turnovers.”
On the disadvantage in the painted zone:
"Physical energy is important. We are obviously inferior to them in that. But we played positively. We won our opponents on this."
Chen Nan (CHN) - Centre
On regaining the upper hand in the fourth quarter:
"I think it's our wonderful teamwork that leads to our success. Our coach told us to emphasize on the defense part. We were well-prepared for this game because we had analysed and summarized the previous games. We improved a lot in this game."
On falling behind in the third quarter:
"Because the US team did a very good job in offence and we were comparatively weak in defense in that quarter. I think our physical strength was definitely not a problem. Just there's a lot of changes on the court."
On the team's performance today:
"I think we played well. No matter on or after the court, we are united."
On the matter of persistence:
"We have improved a lot and used some new strategies. We strengthened our defense. We had better rebounds. The situation became better."
